Selecting the right technology

Some years ago, my boss told me that “When you learn to use a hammer, everything looks like a nail.” It was his way of showing me the danger of limiting the choices to tools we are familiar with.

The ultimate goal is to fulfill a users need. In order to do so, we will select the technology that will fit the customer requierments and other more general requierment such as maintenability etc.
